Savings and Social Development Bank

Savings & Social Development Bank (SSDB) was established according to special law in 1996 as an extension for Sudanese Savings Bank (SSB) [1974-1995], with the special objectives of providing finance to all small productive sectors to alleviate poverty, to stimulate the macro-economy by the contribution of these sectors and spread microfinance services (saving, insurance, and remittances) among the categories of these sectors.
