Graubuendner Kantonalbank

Graubündner Kantonalbank (GKB) was founded in 1870. Just seven years later in 1877, it helped fund an Alpine Road to bring more tourism to its homeland area. In the great depression around 1919, the bank financially helped and supported the Swiss population, and when the post-wars boom came in 1945, it poured money into providing better public services. After a successful computerisation in the 1970s, the bank introduced its first automated teller machines in 1983. On September 10, 1985 GKB was listed on the Swiss Stock Exchange.
