Algérie Poste ("Algerian Post"; Arabic: بريد الجزائر) is the state-owned company responsible for postal service in Algeria. It is headquartered in Bab Ezzouar, Algiers.The Algiers Central Post Office, (Arabic: بريد الجزائر المركزي, French: Grande Poste d'Alger) is an office building for postal services located at Alger Centre municipality in Algiers, Algeria. It was designed by architect Jules Voinot and Marius Toudoire. and was constructed in 1910. It is Algeria's largest post office building, In 2015, the state turned it into a museum.

The Bank of Algeria is the central bank of Algeria. The bank is located in Algiers and its current governor is Rosthom Fadli. The Bank of Algeria sets the conditions under which banks and financial institutions in Algeria and abroad can be allowed to be in Algeria and to operate there

The National Bank of Algeria (BNA) is Algeria's leading commercial bank. Created on June 13, 1966, it exercises all the activities of a deposit bank, in particular it provides financial services for professional groups and companies. It handles all banking, foreign exchange and credit transactions within the framework of banking legislation and regulations.

The External Bank of Algeria was created on October 1, 1967 (by Ordinance No. 67-204), in the form of a national company. In 1970, all foreign banking operations carried out by the most important national companies in Algeria were entrusted to the BEA. In 1989, the bank changed status to become a joint-stock company while keeping the same initial purpose. In 2008, the external bank of Algeria was ranked first among Maghreb banks and ranked sixth in the top 200 African banks of the magazine Jeune Afrique.

The BDL was created on April 30, 1985 by Decree No. 85/84. In July 2018, the BDL launched the Mastercard card, which notably makes it possible to make purchases via the internet and to make payments and withdrawals in foreign currency internationally.

When it was created, the bank was the first heavyweight in French banking. It was founded by a group of industrialists (including Paulin Talabot who was its first director) and the Rothschild family under the Second Empire, on May 4, 1864, “to promote the development of trade and industry in France”. The first president of the bank was the influential Eugène Schneider (1805-1875), forge master at Le Creusot, followed by Guillaume Deninger, dit Denière, then by the Scotsman Edouard Blount. The bank then developed its network significantly in France, to have a total of 32 posts in the provinces in 1870, including 15 in Paris.

The Beginning of the Journey With seven investors and a startup capital of 15,000 Palestinian Pounds, Arab Bank was registered on May 21, 1930 and commenced its operations in Jerusalem on July 14 of the same year. Abdul Hameed Shoman, the founder, was named the Bank’s first chairman. The bodies of the Mutualité Agricole, both at regional and central level, were administratively grouped within a single organization, although they each retained their legal personality. This de facto grouping had already existed since 1950, the date of the establishment of an Agricultural Social Security system in Algeria. Moreover, when this system was introduced, it was considered that the Caisses d'Assurances Mutuelles Agricoles, established in 1907, were better placed to manage the Agricultural Social Insurance system properly, given their experience in the field of insurance management.
